CHICKEN BROCCOLI CASSEROLE

3 cups broccoli florets..cook until crisp tender..place in 11x7 casserole
2 cups cooked chicken cubed
1 can cream of chicken soup or mushroom..undiluted
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2cup grated parmesan cheese....mix chick and sauce and pour over broccoli
1 cup cubed fresh bread
2-3 tablespoons butter melted
pot with bread cubes and butter
bake uncovered at 359 for 25 to 30 min

I had 1 1/2 cup cooked rice that i place in bottom of casserole and
then went ahead as at the first of reciepe

the dish was eaten really fast and everyone really liked it. give it a try and let me know

some new gooood casserole we liked it a lot

FOLD OVER TORTILLA BAKE
1 pound ground beef
1cup chop onion...brown onion and beef and drain well
2cans stewed tomatos (i used a jar of salsa)
1 cup enchilada sauce ( i used tom sauce with a sprinkle of taco seasoning)
1/2 t salt
1/4 t pepper.......mix the above with the meat

12 flour or corn tortillas
2 packages cream cheese
1 can chopped green chilies..drain..spread cheese on tortilla and a spoon of gr. chilies
fold in half and again in 1/4ths
1 cup cheese grated

pour half of the meat sauce in dish
place tortillas point side up half way up the side of the dish
pour remaining sauce over top
cover with foil and bake for 15 min
sprinkle with cheese and bake another 5 min or until chese is melted

well not a lot of news today. this is our night to go to jail...last week noone wanted to listen to us so we got to go home early.. which is not too bad. gordon has spent this monday and tuesday out at the ranch at jordon valley.. he is beginning to know the area and more imortant he is getting to know his cousins and their children. aunt frankie is 88 years old and is running the ranch with the help of her daughter charlene who is 60 something. they run about 5000 acres and many heads of cattle.. i think it is awsome. while gordon was gone my sister sandy, came down from the hills and we canned 38 quarts of peaches.... we were going to do chilie sauce and tom suace. but she wanted to do that at her house so she could smell the wonderful smells of it all. so after canning we went shopping... which means going to goodwill and st vincentde paul stores. that was fun just being together was fun she spent the night we had some really good talks about the good old days... so I will talk to you latter love mom

guess what? we redid the lawn this year.. and yesterday gordon planted the grass and now we begin the watering process./ we will get 2 boxes of tomatos at the temple tonight from our friends. so tomorrow we open the cannery again and do toms. Saturday we will process the apples that gordon picked off of our trees.. about 2 1/2 bushels .. this is the year for pie filling type things... then on monday aunt sandy will be here to can tom sauce and chilie sauce and peaches... I hope she get here I think it will be fun. all is well dad is doing real good. and is now able to eat hot dogs and other things he likes to eat.. it is sunny and I keep seeing birds on the front lawn.. I hope they are not eating the grass seed... love for now... got to go to the temple.

gordons day

today gordon had surgery, on his tracia it went well, the dr. streched the esophagus and hopefully now he, gordon that is, will be able to swallow food more easily. 16 min after the procedure, they had him sit up and get dressed. even if he didnt even know what he was doing. I drove him home... I was listed as the responsible driver... isnt that a laugh. he slept all the way home.. i got him in the house and he ate a bowl of cream soup.. and went to sleep in his chair and has been sleeping for the last 4 hours... so all is welll I precieved that possibley some of you would want to know the outcome... all is well love mom

I have a new kodak easy share camera.... and it has a site called nero..
also a site for my pictures... the problem is..(.me) I am unable to find the pictures and or unable to figure out how to put them on the blog site.. I know that they are in there somewhere and I know they should have some kind of number for each one so that I can bring it to the blog site... meanwhile back at the farm... all I can do is say HI and How are you. dear kids I am still trying to post a new photo of the asparagas that we planted this spring. I am having techinical troubles finding the pics on the nero site. so hang in there I will keep trying until I am half way successful. love ya

this is the bamboo that alex gave me a start of. it came in the back of his truck, dry roots, out in the open for 3 days.. i didnt think that it would live... but as you can see it is spreading out and growing bigger ever day.
